Read these original instructions before using your device for the first time, adhere to the instructions contained therein and store them for later reference or subsequent owners.

• Be sure to read the safety instructions no. 5.956-249.0 prior to the initial startup.

• If the operating instructions and safety instructions are not observed, the device can be damaged and dangers could arise for users and other persons.

• Notify the dealer immediately in the case of shipping damage.

The device is intended for:

• the vacuuming of liquids containing oil, cooling lubricants and chippings.

• the vacuuming of flammable liquids (flash point above 55 °C).

• the vacuuming of non-explosive substances.

• the vacuuming of dusts and coarse dirt.

• the industrial use, e.g. in storage and production areas.

• the commercial use, e.g. in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops, offices, and rental companies.

The device is not intended for:

• the vacuuming of fine dust.

• the vacuuming of flammable liquids (flammable, easily flammable, highly flammable according to Dangerous Substances Directive 67/548/EEC) (flash point below 55 °C) and mixtures of flammable dusts and liquids.

Any other use will be regarded as improper use.

The packing materials can be recycled. Please dispose of packaging in accordance with the environmental regulations.

Electrical and electronic devices contain valuable, recyclable materials and often components such as batteries, rechargeable batteries or oil, which - if handled or disposed of incorrectly - can pose a potential danger to human health and the environment. However, these components are required for the correct operation of the device. Devices marked by this symbol are not allowed to be disposed of together with the household rubbish.

Check the contents for completeness when unpacking. If any accessories are missing or in the event of any shipping damage, please notify your dealer.

The device may only be connected to an electrical connection which has been set up by a qualified electrician as per IEC 60364. For the connection values seeTechnical data and type plate. Use of an extension cable is prohibited.

1. Bring the device into the working position.

2. If necessary, secure the device using the parking brake.

3. Ensure that the suction head is fitted correctly.

4. Insert the suction hose into the suction hose connection.

   ---

   

5. Plug the desired accessory onto the suction hose.

1. Plug the mains plug into the socket.

2. Switch on the device at the trigger.

   ---

   

   The switch has multiple level settings:

   0 The device is off.

   1 Motor 1 is switched on.

   2 Motors 1 and 2 are switched on.

3. Start vacuuming.

1. Switch the device off and disconnect it from the power supply.

2. Move the device to the waste water tank.

3. Empty the liquid container:

   1. Connect the drain hose to the upper hose coupling.

      ---

      

   2. Hold the drain hose over a suitable collecting container and drain the contents.

4. Dispose of or reuse the contents in accordance with statutory regulations.

1. Switch the device off and disconnect it from the power supply.

2. Move the device to the waste water tank.

3. Take the drum pump out of the stand pipe.

   ---

   

4. Remove the suction head, (see chapterRemoving the suction head).

5. Remove all accessory parts.

6. Prepare the liquid container for emptying:

   • By means of tilting the device Tc (device with tilting device Tc)

   1. Open the lock of the liquid container.

   • By tilting the liquid container

   1. Tip the liquid container.

7. Tip the container with the push handle.

8. Dispose of or reuse the contents in accordance with statutory regulations.

9. Fit and lock the suction head.

Note

Secure the disposal hose in the holder when not in use.

1. Only when emptying after vacuuming operations:

   1. Switch the device off and disconnect it from the power supply.

   2. Move the device to the waste water tank.

2. Connect the disposal hose to the waste water tank.

3. Plug in the mains plug of the drum pump.

4. Switch the drum pump on at the on/off switch.

   Note

   Avoid dry running the drum pump.

   Do not leave the drum pump unattended.

5. Adjust the flow rate with the turn switch.

   Note

   Only when emptying during vacuuming operations:

   Select the flow rate according to the vacuumed amount.

6. Dispose of or reuse the contents in accordance with statutory regulations.

1. Empty the container.

2. Remove deposits in the container.

3. Dispose of the deposits in accordance with the applicable regulations.

4. Remove chippings and deposits from the support plates.

   ---

   

1. Switch off the device and disconnect from the power supply.

2. Open the lock for the suction head.

   ---

   

3. Remove the suction head and put to one side.

1. Switch off the device using the on/off switch

2. Empty and clean the liquid container.

3. Remove the accessories and clean and dry them as necessary.

1. When transporting in vehicles, secure the device against slipping and tipping over according to the applicable guidelines.

1. Store the device indoors only.

1. Rinse off the device and accessories at regular intervals using a suitable liquid and allow to dry.

2. To prevent contamination, do not leave fluids in the device.

3. For longer breaks in operation, open the cover to allow the residual moisture to evaporate.

4. Replace the filter if damaged.

1. Unscrew the screw plug.

2. Remove and replace the filter.

3. Insert the new filter.

   Ensure that the filter is inserted correctly during installation.

4. Screw in and tighten the screw plug.

• The motor (suction turbine) does not start up 

• The suction power decreases 

• Emptying the liquid container takes a long time 

• The drum pump does not pump 

Cause:

No electrical voltage present

Remedy:

• Check the socket and the power supply fuse.

• Check the mains cable and the mains plug of the device.

Cause:

Nozzle, suction hose or suction pipe clogged.

Remedy:

• Check the nozzle, the suction hose and the suction pipe and clean if necessary.

Cause:

The filter is dirty.

Remedy:

• Clean the filter.

Cause:

The drain hose is kinked or blocked.

Remedy:

• Check and, if necessary, clean the drain hose.

Cause:

The liquid container is empty.

Remedy:

• Only use the drum pump when the liquid container is filled.

Cause:

No electrical voltage is present.

Remedy:

• Check the power socket and the power supply fuse.

Remedy:

• Check the mains cable and the mains plug of the device.

Cause:

The flow rate is set incorrectly.

Remedy:

• Adjust the flow rate with the turn switch.

Cause:

The support plate is blocked.

Remedy:

• Clean the support plate.

If the malfunction cannot be corrected, the device must be checked by the Customer Service department.

• The motor (suction turbine) does not start up 

• The suction power decreases 

• Emptying the liquid container takes a long time 

• The drum pump does not pump 

Cause:

No electrical voltage present

Remedy:

• Check the socket and the power supply fuse.

• Check the mains cable and the mains plug of the device.

Cause:

Nozzle, suction hose or suction pipe clogged.

• Check the nozzle, the suction hose and the suction pipe and clean if necessary.

Cause:

The filter is dirty.

Remedy:

• Clean the filter.

The liquid container is empty.

Remedy:

• Only use the drum pump when the liquid container is filled.

• Clean the support plate.
