Notify the dealer immediately in the case of shipping damage.
Check the package contents when unpacking for missing accessories or for damage.
The packing materials can be recycled. Please dispose of packaging in accordance with the environmental regulations.
Electrical and electronic devices contain valuable, recyclable materials and often components such as batteries, rechargeable batteries or oil, which - if handled or disposed of incorrectly - can pose a potential danger to human health and the environment. However, these components are required for the correct operation of the device. Devices marked by this symbol are not allowed to be disposed of together with the household rubbish.

Damage to the device

Only use and store the device indoors.The professional wash head PW 30/1 is a spray extraction device. It can be used with Puzzi units with a built-in socket and is suitable for removing heavy soiling from carpets.
This device is suitable for commercial use, e.g. in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops, offices, and rental companies.

Never spray or vacuum fluids, flammable gases, explosive dusts as well as undiluted acids and solvents. These include petrol, paint thinners or heating oil, which can form explosive vapours or mixtures through suction air turbulence, also acetone, undiluted acids and solvents because these attack the materials used in the machine.
Risk of electric shock. Never cross the mains connection or the extension cable with the rotating brushes /discs of the cleaning head.
Prior to cleaning, maintenance and replacement of parts, the device needs to be switched off and the mains plug or battery pack removed. Switch the device off before changing over to another function.
Check that the mains connection cable with mains plug is undamaged each time before using the device. To avoid any possible danger, a damaged mains connection cable must be immediately replaced by the manufacturer, or the authorised customer service department or a qualified electrician.
Do not damage the power supply and extension cable by running over it, crushing or yanking it or similar. Protect the power supply cable from heat, oil and sharp edges.
Only people who have been instructed on how to use the device, or have proven their ability to operate it, and have been explicitly instructed to use it, must use the device.
Repairs may only be carried out by approved customer service sites or staff qualified in this area who are familiar with all relevant safety instructions.
With the PW 30/1, in addition to spray extraction, the dirt is brushed out of the carpet by a high-speed brush. This enables thorough cleaning even of heavily soiled carpets.
Make the Puzzi washing vacuum ready for operation.
Connect spray/suction hose on the unit.


Connect PW 30/1 with spray/suction hose. Make sure that the couplings of the pressure hose engage.

Open the protective cover of the additional socket.
Plug the unit plug of the PW 30/1 into the additional socket of the Puzzi washing vacuum.
Put PW 30/1 into operation.
Put the Puzzi washing vacuum into operation.
Start the brush drive on the power switch of the PW 30/1.

When the brush is blocked, the brush drive switches off. For remedy see troubleshooting guide.
Operate the valve handle. This is used to spray on the detergent solution. The waste water is immediately vacuumed back in via the suction nozzle.

For cleaning, pull PW 30/1 backwards over the carpet in slightly overlapping paths. Start in such a way that areas that have already been cleaned do not have to be walked on again.
Release the valve handle when moving forward (idle stroke).
Switch off the brush drive at the power switch.
Set the Puzzi washing vacuum out of operation.

Be aware of the weight of the device during transportation.Pull the device behind you with the suction pipe when transporting it over longer distances.
Carry the device by the casing and suction pipe.
When transporting the device in vehicles, secure it to prevent it from slipping or overturning in accordance with the respective valid guidelines.

Switch off the device.Unplug the unit.Rinse PW 30/1 with clear water.
Clean the roller brush of lint and dirt.
Check the spray pattern of the nozzle mouthpiece; if the spray pattern is uneven, clean the nozzle and mouthpiece.
Clean the suction hose and suction nozzles when the suction performance decreases.
Check toothed belt wear and tension, replace toothed belt if necessary.
Check brush wear, replace brush if necessary.
Release 5 screws and remove the cover.
Remove the toothed belt.
Unscrew the screw on the front of the brush.
Dismantle the retaining plate on the opposite side by loosening 3 screws and remove the brush.
Installation of the brush is performed in the reverse sequence.

When the brush is blocked, the brush motor is switched off.
Remedy:
Check brush for dirt and remove any blocking objects if necessary.
Unscrew the protective cover and press the fuse switch using a screwdriver. Screw the protective cover back in.
If the malfunction cannot be corrected, the device must be checked by the Customer Service department.
Brush is blocked
When the brush is blocked, the brush motor is switched off.
Remedy:
Check brush for dirt and remove any blocking objects if necessary.
Unscrew the protective cover and press the fuse switch using a screwdriver. Screw the protective cover back in.
